Daily Telegraph article on Brent-Eton Summer School

Telegraph article

Apart from referring to “Primrose Campbell” (she won’t be happy about that!) it’s very nice.

Matthew Weinreb and Dominic Self, both 16, have been locked in a philosophical debate over the past few days. Their conversation hinges on what is called the mind/body problem, and it dates back to Plato. Matthew believes that he “has a body” while Dominic argues that he “is a body”.

Told you philosophy was fun…!

Daily Telegraph article on Brent-Eton Summer School

  1. BigBroMan says:

As Dominic Self put it: "The idea of boarding terrifies me because I love my family and if you are really bright you’ll do fine at a state school. In an ideal world, private schools would be scrapped but that’s not going to happen."
Ah smell the stench of Socialism! The rule of the Tyrant leftie – banning and restricting their way to equality.

The Left think everyone is equal and therefore should be treated the same; Rightists such as myself think everyone is equal and therefore should get equal choice.

ie: Privatise ALL schools, then give each child a voucher to attend one…

  2. Red Dalek says:

Yesss… given that children going to private schools is a matter of their parents’s wealth rather than their own, it’s really a fuedal system, rather than a capitalist one.
