In all its glory
Yesterday we had an English trip to Queen Mary’s College for 4 lectures on Angela Carter’s Wise Children. Without naming names – one of them was brilliant, one was quite good, another was dull and the last… well, he didn’t seem to have been told what the title of his lecture was supposed to be. He was making good points, but thoroughly unconnected, and he kept pausing awkwardly after each one as if we were supposed to applaud. And his shirt wasn’t tucked in.

lol. I went there with College recently. It’s a good place but I couldn’t find the People’s Palace! Got out at Mile End and saw the massive sign and waited in the back complex. D’oh!
Okie doke! Just Googled it and you mean the College, not Queen Mary’s University. Still, without making a complete ass out of myself, I’m sure it’s just as good if not better than the one I went to!

Which is referred to on my summary sheet as Queen Mary’s College for some reason, but is really the university.
