A certain person, let’s just call them Mr. X, has decided to pretend they don’t care about school, or exams. Great, great. But why then walk around like a depressive screaming at people? I thought people who didn’t care where nice, easy-going free spirited hippies?

Screaming “I don’t care!” means, of course, that you do care. So please stop wasting our time.

In other news – we did our best piece of drama (and it was funny too!) in a looong time, and our regular teacher wasn’t there to see it. Great. Well if you’re reading this just give us a commendation each please, it was bloody brilliant and we actually got people to laugh for a change.

Finally – Anthony Ainley has died. Famous to Doctor Who fans as one of the actors who played ‘The Master’ you can read a tribute to him on Doctor Who’s leading fan site here. A sad day.

Exam results (end of year 10) are pouring in. I can tell you now I seem to do rather well in ICT, can’t think why.

Following on from yesterday (which Nathan is rightly outraged by) Rush Limbaugh does not apologise. No, instead he continues.

Apparently torture is “good old American pornography.”

“Maybe the people who executed this pulled off a brilliant maneuver” he says.

And just to prove what a lunatic he is, he declares

“LIMBAUGH: I think a lot of the American culture is being feminized. I think the reaction to the stupid torture is an example of the feminization of this country.”

I mean for god’s sake, they care when Janet Jackson’s boobs are shown on TV, when Oprah talks about sex (shock horror!) on her talk show, but when this man PRAISES TORTURE on his radio show he is allowed to continue?

Oh what a surprise, turns out he’s best buddies with, ur George Bush.

Isn’t saying “If there has been humiliation, it isn’t the fault of the West. It is Muslims’ fault.” inciting religious hatred?

Pleaassse – if anyone reading this is an American citizen, get rid of Bush at the next election! I don’t care who, just VOTE and for the world’s sake remove George W and his racist friends.

I thought I’d seen it all in US broadcasting. But now a ‘journalist’ (I’d print his real title but it’d break the obscenity rules of my hosting) has said, of the Iraqi torture photos on his radio station phone in show:

“CALLER: It was like a college fraternity prank that stacked up naked men —

LIMBAUGH: Exactly. Exactly my point! This is no different than what happens at the Skull and Bones initiation and we’re going to ruin people’s lives over it and we’re going to hamper our military effort, and then we are going to really hammer them because they had a good time. You know, these people are being fired at every day. I’m talking about people having a good time, these people, you ever heard of emotional release? You of heard of need to blow some steam off?”

WHY has this guy not been fired yet?

I’m seriously scared about the world’s superpower right now.

Well, it’s been there for several hours but I’ve finally found a nice, free program called Giffy which can convert .bmp files to .gif very nicely. So here it is, a slight tweak to the blog design to keep rivals on their toes
