Site Updates

Yes, it’s true, I have shamelessly stolen Alex Trafford’s design for a search box. But I’ve also played around with the comment form to give it a bit more sparkle, although IE users are left out here I’m afraid. It’s all part of my slow refresh of little bits of the site that need improving now that the newsness of the summer design has worn off. As ever – comments, questions, suggestions welcome!

I like the about me bit and the search box at the top also works, it gives me ideas for my site, but I wont steal them

    Not only IE users!

Messed up AGAIN on Safari. (Also no searchbox)

Dom – Your site used to work on all/most browsers and you even had that screen resolution option, nowadays it seems it just works on Firefox.

I’m seeing a messed up site when I view it here.

    (Looks great on Firefox though)

The Screen res thingy! I remember that – you’ve been around for a bit Dom

  4. Well, I’m just glad I’m worthy of being ripped off!

Really love the text input styling, although I’m not too sure about the ‘about me’ bit; not the concept just the picture and XML image look a bit weird.

El Barto – I’m sorry about the issues in Safari. I’ve tried ages to fix it, as you know… and some issues have been solved, but the comment form is still *the* big problem. It’ll be on my To-do list…!

Rob – Yay! The screen resizer, now that was a classic…

Alex – Good point, I’ll think again about it

    Lemis – Thanks!

  7. Obviously it’s just more form playing, but the submit button is great! You’ve got me obsessing about where I’ve seen it recently, which is a little unhealthy.

Verifaction input field on the left is good too
