My website is now under redevelopment, and lots of pages will be making a permanent disappearing act in order to free up space for a more expanded blogging system.
Meanwhile, bear with me, and enjoy the weather while it lasts.
Bloody flies. Or maybe I should say ‘flying ants.’ Whatever they are, they’ve completely invaded around here today. Going for a walk feels like going into battle – constantly dodging the bullet sized menaces as they hurl themselves towards some part of you. Normally your eyes. In swarms, just to make it all the more foul.
So if you didn’t get the gist of all that… summer is off to a buzz.
Oh, and Happy Birthday Katie – tomorrow.
Just got home to start the glorious summer holidays and yes, there’s a Gmail invite sitting in my blogger page!
OK, sure, I’m late. Loads of other people have been using Gmail for months, but I’m still very happy to be able to finally give it a whirl. I now have active Hotmail, Yahoo and now Gmail web accounts, the Holy Trinity of free email I suppose.
Woo hoo!
Of course, no one does any work at this time of year anyway.
Enjoy the summer!
What else? Oh yeah, Windows XP SP2 to be released in August. This gigantic update is nevertheless very important to install, so be sure to order the free CD if you don’t fancy a 90MB+ download.
And yes, it is the film everybody must see.
Very hard to put into words how you feel by the end, so I won’t try. Just go and see it.
Oh, and message to the right: We wouldn’t have to idolise Moore if other people were making these films and getting them seen by the masses. We are well aware he has a big ego, we are well aware neither him or his films are perfect. But everybody with a brain wants to get rid of Bush, and so we welcome this film with open arms!
Good on you, Michael Moore. While British audiences may not get a vote, we’re still affected by the evil of the Republicans.
