Well since everyone’s doing linky posts

Here’s my bundle of Internet goodies for you all:

Anyone up for a game of Blogpoly? How much of a ‘blogosphere’ nerd are you? See how many of these things mean something to you!

But hey, puzzle games are boring and don’t allow you to Beat the Press cruising along to the Daily Show theme tune.

BBC News is reporting interesting things today. Like Glasgow City Council bribing kids with iPods – because presumably the local government is so overflowing with money they can afford to splash out on ‘worthy’ projects like this.

OK that’s it – I’m out of things to link to. Tonight’s (time-shifted) HIGNFY has been \ will be hosted by Marcus Brigstocke – yayness.

Well since everyone’s doing linky posts

  1. Incentivising healthy eating with iPods is kinda weird, couldn’t money be better spent, be it on healthy eating or not, blogpoly and beat the press 2 are great!

  2. Rob says:

Yes, I’ve eaten 1 apple and some grapes, where’s my iPod now then?

  3. El Barto says:

    Terrible, just terrible!

Why not spend the money on paying the eviction notice fine for the London Eye?

  4. Red Dalek says:

    Eh? London Eye?

    [Looks up BBC News]

OH SHIT! Greedy bastard! They *cannot* close that down! It was the one really successful Millennium project!

  5. Yea exactly, it’s just brilliant!
If the southbank centre is government apointed (it is i checked) then I don’t understand why they’re doing this.
And on the subject of moving it somewhere else in london; it’s stupid.
The position next to the river is a huge part of it’s character.

  6. Pingu says:

Oh and to return your constructive criticism favours on the babble – can I just say "ARGHHH TEH STOCK PHYOTO ON TEH FRONT PAGE!!!1111" and the smilies are shit.

    Cheers!

  7. Red Dalek says:

I just tried the MSN ones and they don’t look great against a blue background… wait until the inevitable redesign sometime in the summer!

Stock photo is there to make you feel bored and depressed – perfect to simulate exam conditions But, um, I’ll see what I can do

  8. Pingu says:

Pah, with a little editing and transparency matting they’ll be fine.

    So get cracking!

  9. Pingu says:

Aww I love the London eye.

Anyway, by the looks of this pic:

  10. Ragnarok_Warrior says:

  11. Apple bagman says:

To everyone, there will be a chatroom on at my website, this will start at around 7. So if everyone wants to tlk to eachother properly than go on it. Its on the junk page

  12. Apple bagman says:

hey dom, btw i just had some packages delivered. These were free items off a website. This proves you can get free items off the internet. it also proves that companies are dim, giving free stuff to a 15yr old,

  13. Red Dalek says:

Bagman – I know there’s a lack of news at the moment due to the strike – but please don’t try to make up for it with off-topic comments.

Don’t be so sure that companies which make a profit don’t have a workable business model!
