Well since everyone’s doing linky posts

Here’s my bundle of Internet goodies for you all:

Anyone up for a game of Blogpoly? How much of a ‘blogosphere’ nerd are you? See how many of these things mean something to you!

But hey, puzzle games are boring and don’t allow you to Beat the Press cruising along to the Daily Show theme tune.

BBC News is reporting interesting things today. Like Glasgow City Council bribing kids with iPods – because presumably the local government is so overflowing with money they can afford to splash out on ‘worthy’ projects like this.

OK that’s it – I’m out of things to link to. Tonight’s (time-shifted) HIGNFY has been \ will be hosted by Marcus Brigstocke – yayness.

Welcome to Part 1 of my uninteresting outpouring of thoughts after a GCSE exam. Today was Spanish Speaking, one of the hardest for me, and all in all I thought it went pretty well. No major fuck ups, and I was very lucky with the topics that came up for conversation! After a presentation on ‘The Environment’ I got ‘Home Life’ and ‘Education & Work’ – and I was very relieved not to get anything on ‘Tourism’.

Our teacher is great though – which calmed the nerves. Next up: Spanish listening. Monday.

Well, technically. There’s still the small matter of revision sessions, Spanish speaking tests (on Thursday!), GCSE exams, the Prom, Results Day, Certificate Presentation Evening and a whole 2 years of Sixth Form… but aside from all that it’s the last time our year will be together. Sorry if I find it hard to get all emotional, but the girls do that well enough on their own

The wonderful Yearbook sold out and is being re-printed, but if you can’t wait to see photos of each other, Bagman is very keen for people to visit his gallery of adorable faces. God knows why I let him get all this free advertising!

So tomorrow, on my first day of ‘freedom’, I’ll probably… head right back into school for revision. Wow, Blair was right, ‘choice’ really is better

I just had my last day of school uniform (yay) although I suppose now I will have to choose what to wear each day (hmm) which could mean I’ll have to get up earlier (noo)

In other news – Internet Explorer 7 will have tabs – a fantastic new innovation from Microsoft there Seriously, I’m pleased. I still have a soft spot for IE, partly because it opens when I click it, not half an hour later in 3 windows. But as always with IE7 – we’ll see…

Shout out to Sanna, who is like a female Nic when it comes to grammar.

Update – I’m not sure how I forgot (!) but last Friday I also had my last compulsory PE lesson EVER! YAY!

Lord Pingu (long may he be blessed with igloos and things) has fixed the comment form so that email addresses are now remembered along with your name and website. Hooray!
